My normal journey to work is 20 mins. Yesterday took an hour and 45 minutes. There were SO many trees down and roads flooded.


This was at the point where I thought "Hmmm, that looks a bit deep"...

And then this was taken half way through when I thought "CRIKEY, this is getting REALLY deep and 3 of those cars are stranded"...

Thankfully I battled on and got through this too:

This was taken by a good friend of mine. He took it as he said to his son "You're going to see your first engine failure her son" and sure enough, that's what happened!

Jesus, the driver in that last pic had a major brain fart!

Some people don't know what is good for them (or their car!)

Good luck to anyone caught in the floods - here in Cambridgeshire thankfully we haven't had that problem...
