Hi,
here's an oddity
just looked to check peak torque and noticed on motorcycle wiki that there could be more than one power level : here http://motorcycles.wikia.com/wiki/Honda_CB500 but I thought all were 57bhp.
Anyone heard of this before?

Maybe some had factory fit restriction kits? Sounds a bit weird!

Yeah, some European and Scandinavian markets have restricted bikes due to their learner laws; much like our own 33bhp neutering.

I think *all* the different power versions were restricted using the different sized intake rubbers; hence even if you got a restricted one it wasn't difficult to upgrade...
