One thing the guide doesn't mention is cleaning the piston before pushing it back in. If there's any corrosion or dirt adhering to it, it coild damge the seal and/or make it start to seize.

If you've got a Dremel,  use a round wire brush to clean the piston off first.
Personally I always have the piston out, clean it, seals out and clean the seats, put  it all back with red rubber brake grease. Then check the sliders are in good nick - they can seize up fairly easily.

Whereabouts are you?

Not a million miles away from me, I'm in Croydon if you're having problems.

I use these for pushing the pistons in - http://www.screwfix.com/p/quick-action-clamp-6-152mm/57645
Plastic faces don't damage anything and you can use it one handed.
Pull the R pin out and tap out the pin before you take the wheel out and calliper off, it's much easier.

One point to note: the dremel is a very useful tool, but you might want to exercise a little
care when using it (and a wire brush etc) to clean up brake pistons - it is worth starting off gently as heavy scoring won't help the situation... sorry if you know this already, but...

I've found that the pistons don't score from the Dremel wire brushes. I wouldn't use any of the stones etc, but the brushes seem to remove the crud and corrosion without damaging the surface.

Wear goggles mind, the bristles fling out quite easily

Good advice about the goggles - wire in eye = pain.

I'm probably being paranoid - it could also be that dremel wire brushes are made of something soft like brass which is less likely to scratch.
