digital rev counter????
I saw this on the bay. I asked the seller what year this came off and he says 1993 cb500. Anyone seen this before? is it correct and would it be a straight swap for the normal clocks?

each to their own but personally think it looks awful...... wouldnt be as bad if the speedo was digital and tacho was analogue.

No, not original, as far as I know. Plus you would have to work out how to wire it up...

I'm pretty sure that digital readout has been written on in crayon!

Definitely NOT CB500. It's actually off a pre-1995 CB400 Super Four. Save ya money!

will do. need to find replacement clocks though as previous owner must have had a lazy moment and laid it down cracking the casing. Don't want to be paying £70 plus quid though. Can find replacement case front, but it's the back of the casing that's cracked. :-(

Digital clocks of any sort are surely the worst invention to be forced into the world of motoring. What's the fun of pinning it if there isn't a needle straining to reach the extreme of what the clocks can read?

Yes. That, and then the lousy readability of digital when compared to analog:
Quick! Find the deviating meter; you have 2 seconds!
