    Surely there must be a universal fuel tap that will fit the cb500, £181 for a new one from David Silver spares, what a joke haha Very Happy

    You don't need to buy a new one unless it is really buggered.

    If it just leaking it might well be worth trying one of these:

    It is also possible to buy second-hand ones off ebay for much less the cost of a new one.
