New CBF owner
Hi All,
My name is Chris & I've just bought myself a 2004 CBF500 in Black as my first starter bike having just passed my direct access tests.
Glad to have found you all on this site. Hopefully I can learn a few things and help out as well.
Mods on my cbf500 include... Scot-oiler, heated grips, fender extender, small smoked screen, extended rear hugger & chain guard, anodised black levers, motad downpipes, full givi pannier kit.
Cheers,
Chris

Re: New CBF owner
Sounds good. A lot of people on here have CB500s, some have had (or do have) CBF500s. The engine (and a few other bits) are the same; the rest is a little different.
Anyway, don't let that put you off, they are pretty similar bikes.
Have you any pictures of your new acquisition?

No. It's also heavier, slower and less fuel efficient.

Surprised by that. Maybe another good source for engines though?
