Speedo cable broke..
..because I forgot there was one and didn't lube it.

eventually they will go even though you keep em lubed, more longevity obviously if u do.....did you get yourself sorted with a new one?

I suppose they do - it's probably the original which makes it 12 years old!
Last time I saw it working I was doing just over the ton so that wouldn't have helped
Not sorted a new one yet - I'll have to hurry up as my MOT is due next week.
In the meantime I believe 30MPH is 3Krpm in 4th and 70MPH is 5.5K in 6th...

Not sure whats what with revs/speedo.... All I can point you out with, is if you see a flash in your wingmirrors you have went to fast through a gatso or if you see blue flashing lights and someone pointing at you to pull over...again your going to fast.......lol

luckily all the speed cameras on my journey to work are the front-plate reading average speed type
