Coil over plug modification? Empty Coil over plug modification?

I am having trouble getting my bike running,it was running well beforehand. My friend and myself think the coils are duff but I have set of 4 stick coils and was wondering if it is a worthwhile modification to carry out? I will need to source and buy the wiring loom and would need to sort out the wiring if I did this. Anyone carried this out, and care to provide a review? I would really appreciate this....................thanks.
