Organising a rideout
Hi all,
There are vague rumblings of organising a rideout in one of the other forum threads. I thought I should post here and see if there is interest. No date set yet but maybe in the upcoming months for the arrival of spring.

I would definitely be up for this.
Last time we went North of the M25 to encourage Northern members to join, but if I remember it correctly, most of us were from the South East.

I think parking in Oxford will be a hard job even for us bikers. I would suggest St Neots or Stratford Upon avon

Know what you mean about parking in Oxford. Stratford on Avon sounds a better bet , anybody else i can make Stratford ??

Is anyone else up for meet in Stratford ?? Â Was thinking perhaps first Sunday in May 5th.
Things should have warmed up by then. Does anyone know if you can still park bikes by the river these days ?/

If I get reunited with my bike before then I'd really like to come along this year. Early May, or mid-late June would be good.

Hi,
bike park has been moved to a motorcycle only area in front of one of the town centre car parks.
The old river-front bike parking is now a faceless plaza that has an occasional weekend market on it, great if you like incense and tourist tat.
Btw the councillors who voted in the plaza got voted out of office, it is dull indeed.

Stratford is a considerably longer run for me but still doable. 5th May is no problem

Re: Organising a rideout
5th may fine for me, bike park is sign-posted and is well covered by cctv so bikes should be safe if we go for a wander/food

5th is good, but Stratford is a bit too far north..... and I don't let the bike out of my sight.
watching incase it comes back down 'south' - for clarification I've amended the map

If you want a reason to meet up it's 25 years since the CB500 was launched.
All being well I'll be there

Re: Organising a rideout
I am planning to be in on any proposed meet but the cb project is is throwing me some curve balls at the mo. If it's still not rideable I'll come on something else. (I'll park out of sight so as not to cause any offence!!)

Well done Wrighty, does not really matter which bike you come on, as long as it is not a Harley .
Sorry any Harley riders. So how many others are definates for May 5th meeting.
