PMs does not appear to be working when sending you a message. I am not keen to put my number on a open general forum so will just send you a text so you can get it that way

Re: Organising a rideout
nice to put faces to names, though getting there was fun. seems like all the sunday drivers were out today and my tomtom decided to stop working after meeting up with others in Banbury, so one of them became lead rider to point us in the right direction for Banbury to pick up Muttley1. Got to Banbury, and then could not find the garage where Bryan was waiting. in the end I phoned him and he came and found us. Nice ride into SOA followed. left with Wrighty for the ride home, but again tomtom on the blink so I ended up going into Coventry town centre before I realised it had gone off again seems I have a poor connection somewhere in the power supply, and also had managed to turn off voice commands so was not being told where to go and I don't like having to concentrate on the screen when on the move. Anyway, sorry to Wrighty for leaving him to make his own way home

Re: Organising a rideout
Chris do you know what, I took the slip road and ended at a big roundabout, then a slip road back down led me to what I thought was the same road again. I assumed it was me that had gone wrong and you were well ahead. Oh well! As you say nice to meet some of the guys who I regularly see on the forum. Interestingly I learnt that Muttley1 and I used to both race MZs years ago. Maybe we were sometimes on track together! Anyway a chilly ride but much enjoyed and next time I promise to turn up on the cb. (Nearly there!)

Re: Organising a rideout
Crash, Have you recently updated your TomTom by any chance? I did the required update the other day, and now mine has an intermittent charging issue, when I'm fairly sure that there's no problem with the supply.

Re: Organising a rideout
Chris was a nice ride out, especially when we finally found wrighty lol. Loved the route we took into Stratford upon Avon via edge hill. Sorry I left you but haven't seen the guys from daventry in ages. Wrighty loved the sound your bike was awesome, however your filtering in Stratford got some unwanted attention from the car drivers

Re: Organising a rideout
thanks guys, not a bad day all round. I'm sure we can get some more rides in later in the spring/summer. Sully, I have just updated it, but my problem was a broken connection in the USB fitting that goes in the satnav. next time I will take my road atlas with me, the tomtom was easier as you do not have to stop to check it. (when it works properly )
