Rear indicator mounts
I've just taken the TiVo rack off my cb500s. There seem to be some parts missing to remount the indicators. Two small holes in the rear mudguard, which the indicator threaded end won't fit though. Was there originally something that goes between the indicator stem and the mudguard?

Re: Rear indicator mounts
Yes, there should be a pair of handles

Re: Rear indicator mounts
I think that's a different year. My y2000 CB had a rear passenger grab rail behind the seat.

Re: Rear indicator mounts
hh_12345 is correct. You are confusing the pillion grab handle with these frames which are attached to the chassis under the seat.

Re: Rear indicator mounts
Ah thanks. I haven't got those. I'll have to get in eBay and try and find them.

Re: Rear indicator mounts
I guess they are identical. A had to buy a pair too , as they were missing on my bike and I wanted to have original indicators instead of the small aftermarket indicators that were mounted in the mudguard holes.
They are useful for attaching luggage too.

Re: Rear indicator mounts
Cool. It's probably just a different paint finish. Thanks you guys for your help. Back on the road in a few days.

Re: Rear indicator mounts
Here's a pic of my indicator mount.
Looking at it now and given that I haven't owned the bike from new and I installed a pair of second hand rails myself, there could possibly be some kind of spacer there.
But most likely it only looks more sophisticated that it actually is.
It all reminded me of the Missing Link trailer I recently saw
