Rear Shock Length
Hi all,
I have a CB 500 which I think has been molested by a riding school. It has aftermarket rear shocks which i guess are shorter than standard.
I am asking if someone could possibly measure their standard shocks for me from center to center of the fixings so I can go to a breakers and find some of similar length?
The ones on my bike at the moment are roughly 300mm.
Thanks for any help
Adam

I would recommend that you consider fitting a new set of Hagon rear shocks. You can get these for £130 or less a set. They improve the ride, look great and can add value to the bike. Worth thinking about. Just google Hagon shocks or they have them on www.wemoto.com.

Re: Rear Shock Length
James,
Thanks for your reply. The shocks on the bike are hagon shocks, however, it has no pre-loading facility (usually adjusted with a c spanner) and the whole back of the bike seems to be riding very low.
Was hoping I could compare the length of others (possibly standard) shocks just to verify

Re: Rear Shock Length
We could've swapped! I just picked up my new short Hagon shocks today. I think I remember my originals being measured at 340mm, as my new ones are 310, hoping I can stop without falling over now:D
