Removing heated grips.
Would like to fit new bars , but bike has Oxford heated grips. Does anyone know if it`s possible to remove the left hand grip without spoiling it and to reuse it? I imagine the right hand one is no problem as it`s on the twistgrip. Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks.

Turn it on, wait for it to heat up and then give it some welly whilst twisting it.
Another method is to put a very, very thin screwdriver along the inside without damaging the grip (tip: keep it pointed at the bars) spray some disc brake cleaner down it, and then rotate everything at the same time. This should break the bond.

May be worth heating the grip up with a hair dryer as well to get it really pliable. If they were fitted with proper grip glue this is quite rubbery and will soften.

All good suggestions - you could also apply some GT85 or WD40 to the screwdriver to help it slide under the grip.
It *can* be done, you just need to be a little careful! (I have failed to do this in the past by being too ham fisted and eager to get the grip off).
