I like the statement "traditional brown distressed surface finish" A lot of my CB was in this type of finish, until I finished it off

Is that for disc or drum model ?
Why does it always seem to be the right that breaks and never the left one?

Hi Andy,
do you have the main wiring loom?
mine needs changing due to the rec/rec connector block getting burnt. I have a spare but mullered it trying to get the connectors out so think it would be easier to just change the whole damn lot

I believe that I do have one.
I'll check on the condition as I didn't look too closely when I removed it from the bike.

Re: Naked cb500 ready to strip.
I'm pleased to say that the loom is in a fine condition with everything as it should be. Which is a rare occurrence these days in my experience. It can be yours for £40 posted to you.

Hi Andy I don't suppose you have a spare airbag.

Assuming you mean the airbox I'm afraid not. It was in a poor condition and no use to anyone unfortunately.

Hi Andy, i bit late to the party but I'm wondering if you still have the right front footpeg hanger? I see that dipstick already have asked, but if you guys didn't go through with the deal I'm interested.

Hi, yes I believe that I still have one. Is it for a disc or drum brake model?

Yes I have one, I'll have to sort it out on Monday when I get home. I'll send some pictures as soon as I can.

Re: Naked cb500 ready to strip.
It appears that for some reason unbeknownst to me the boss that the brake lever pivots on has been removed from the sought after footrest. I can only think that a previous owner has tried to convert to drum brake although I have no idea how that would work.

Okey, so no go for it then? Or is it possible to use?

Re: Naked cb500 ready to strip.
I'm afraid that it's a no go for this one sorry.
I really can't understand why it would have been removed.
If I had more time available I would make a new pivot but I'm really busy at the moment.

Andy do you have the spacer that goes in the back of the sprocket carrier?

I possibly have one lying around, would you have the dimensions as there are a few different sizes, depending on year and brake system.

Re: Naked cb500 ready to strip.
Andy I don't have the dimensions. It's a 1994 drum brake model if that helps.

Re: Naked cb500 ready to strip.
A drum brake model I wouldn't have lying around as I have only broken one and the wheel went complete with sprocket carrier.
If one of our esteemed members would be able to help with the dimensions I could certainly make one.

Hi
I have removed the Givi box and mounts but now I can´t mount my rear indicators. Looks like I need the grips under the rear cowl. Do you have something like that?
Thanks
Ole
