electrical bother
Hello,
I have just taken my cb500 (03) out on my first ride everything electrical was working before I took her out. I discovered my horn wasn't working when out and stopped to discover it wasn't just the horn.
Doesn't work
-Horn
-Both indicators and light on the instruments
-rear light
-rear break light (both breaks)
-neutral light
-side stand light
Does work
-side light
-head light
-full beam and light on the instruments
-passing light
-electric start
The engine runs fine, I tried the lights etc again once she had cooled down but to no avail. Has anyone experienced this or can help me?
Robyn

Re: [solved]electrical bother
One word: Fuses :) The haynes manual suggests that 'fuse number 3' might be the problem...
Have you found the fuse-box yet? It is under the left-hand side panel, just below the seat.
The fuses are of the blade type, so if you take each one out in turn you can check them by holding them up to the light and checking the link is intact.
Sorry if you've done this already...

Many thanks!

Nice to hear that the problem is solved.
Have you got a copy of the haynes manual? The wiring diagram isn't too bad and is worth a look with these types of problem.
There is a link to an online version of the manual at the top of the 'workshop' forum.
