I got a pair last Wednesday from my wife as a birthday present. I've done over 900 miles in 'em since and they're superb! Didn't need breaking in, are very comfy and actually are waterproof! Think of them as Alpinestars Couriers.

900 miles in a week :O
What's the longest (mileage) you've done when it's been really wet/chucking it down, as my RST boots are good for about 70/80miles before the toes go damp/moist from the rain

In the rain, in one sitting, I honestly don't know. Certainly a few hundred miles. I was a courier for a long time, so riding in shitty weather was prerequisite.

Nope! It'll be a while before that happens. I'll have my VFR back on the road within a few weeks, then I can get Donkey fixed.

Those look good. Mind you I couldn't wear stuff like that as I think if clothing or helmets are going to be covered with advertising then the makers should pay you to wear their products and not the other way round.
If possible I black out logos and makers names, not even very keen on the Honda logo on the bike.

If you wear textiles over the top of the boot like what I do then the Alpinestar logo would be covered anyway. I guess you won't like RST gear then Beresford!

I suppose that you've got to wear bright colours when you want to stand out in a crowd.
