    ARMY BOOTS Empty ARMY BOOTS

Post by skyrider Sat 14 Jan 2017, 4:53 pm

right about 18  months ago I bought a pair of army boots in a size 6L  now I have been told that the L stands for wide fitting, is there any ex military guys out there to verify this because I take a wide fitting and as with most people its the right boot that is tight, I wear them for short spells now and again but I cant keep putting up with the grip which is a pity because they are a decent pair of boots otherwise Sad

As I recall the  L is for a wide fitting.
They do take a looong time to break in as you've found. Especially if you're not wearing them at least 20 hours a day.
