    Head gasket Empty Head gasket

Post by The Hurricane Fri 31 May 2019, 10:59 pm

I have had to return a head gasket because it wouldn't fit over the dowels. The dowels are 12.00 and the one supplied wouldn't go over them. The gasket looked spot on when I matched to the old one.
    My bike is a 2000 model pc26.
I thought all the years would be the same from 94 to 03
Not sure what difference the pc26 and pc32 engine are though.

The engines are exactly the same across all years.
All the pc26 and pc32 refers to is the different model variation, pc26 is the drum version and the 32 is the disc model.

    As James said they're identical.
Some pattern gaskets are tight but a little persuasion and they're fine.

    Cheers for your replies guy's.
Just strange one as my frame is a PC32 and the engine is a PC26 and this marries up with the log book and the bike is a 2000 model.
I will order one from Brooksbarn at £42.07 on ebay.
If anyone knows a better place to get one, then please let me know.

    Cheers
